It's May the 25rd 2012. A very special weekend for my special someone but it is also a very special day for me. And this is the first time I actually couldn't celebrate the actual birthday with her. But it is the third year that I have celebrate this birthday with the girl I love whole heartedly. The very first time, it was one of her most disappointed time of her birthday ( And I promise it will never happen again ). The second was better, taking her to one of the most beautiful island in Malaysia to enjoy the sun and sea. Though the food wasn't the best but it is really a place to be free of every problem and stress in the head.
I am very happy that I get to celebrate this special day with her because this is the longest relationship that I had and my love for her still has lots of fire. Since last year it was one of the most beautiful island in Malaysia, this year I plan to bring her one of the best service not only in Malaysia, but the world (Cham, I place the expectation a little too high didn't I :P). Where we're going? Well fortunately the place is close to Ipoh, so we could just go back to her house just to have some rest for the night first. The next early morning, it is time to pack and leave for our journey.

Yes, the famous Pangkor Laut Resort where all who heard about this says that to go there is not for holiday but for couple to go honeymoon. All ask whether am I proposing there but this is something I ask myself. Expensive places meaning I need to do some big event? So if I don't plan anything then it is not worth it to go? This is something I don't feel its true. I go there because I know the service and the place is great. My dear has been all the while so stress up, it is time to go some place where people are actually will manja her and she is being serviced and not she service people.
Day1: I am deeply surprised by the service they provide. I would expect them to give a smile and give some cold refreshments. But they actually do everything and take us like king and queen. My luggage I have never touch till I reach the room and I was provide in everything. Even during check in I do not need to stand and wait at the reception but I just sit by the sofa and wait for the receptionist to come to me. Even during the evening where we finish made the place a little messy they would come and make the room back to how it is before we came in when we went for dinner. They would make the room slightly cold with air con and dimly lit up the lights to provide the soothing mood.

The dinner is I could say if was really full. The food I can say it is nice but maybe the price take me off a little but overall it is a very pleasant experience. After a heavy and great meal, we went for a walk to enjoy the night scenery of all Pangkor Laut Resort can offer.
Day2: Woke up early in the morning to try to take the morning sunrise. Unfortunately the sun is blocked by the hills of Pangkor island where to see it you must wait about 8-9 am. Unfortunately, I'm still sleepy so I ended up back into bed and wrap myself at my dear while she was sleeping.

A 2 hour sleep and we woke up to a new day's morning. Seeing her awake brings a smile to my face where I could just kiss her. After washing up, we changed to a casual wear to head to breakfast. As normal, it is a buffet breakfast where all types of breakfast from western to eastern style is served. What give this breakfast a special twist is that the juicer is pure fresh juice. All you need is take the fruits you like and pass to the waiter/waitresses and they will serve you fresh juice.

After breakfast, we need some light exercises to ease our digestion from all the good food. Hence, our next activity would be a jungle trekking walk part of the Pangkor Laut Resort. This trek actually takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour to finish but after some briefing of the nature and picture taking it takes 2 hours to end the whole trek. Once there, believe it or not it's already lunch and we are still super full. Nevertheless, the scenery of our lunch area was great.
We went back for a quick nap after a long walk and with lots of food in our tummy. To our surprise, the staff not only make our bed back but also fold all our clothes that we just throw on the couch. What's more there is a new fruit basket for us again and also leave a note to ask us to enjoy the evening. When it's about 5pm we went back to Emerald bay to enjoy the sea and of course photo shooting time. With the proper lighting and proper timing. She really could look like a star and look deliciously hot. My heart just melt when I look at her through the lens.

After the photoshoot session, we went back to bath and change and getting for dinner (My surprise main event). I purposely wear quite nicely to make her wear something sexy in return and she is really sexy. We went for our dinner which is an international buffet. There they served all types of food from all over the world. Some made to almost perfection which is really delicious. I try not to eat so much because during dinner my dear is going to receive a special surprise and I reckon it is a cake. So I slowly wait for it. When it came, they sang happy birthday to her and present her one cake that hopefully will make her remember of this special day.

We leave the place fully satisfied and we went on to walk on the jetty to capture some of the pictures there. One huge problem there is the weather. I have never felt so hot before during the night. It is as though the sun is shining but its light is being block by something huge. We went back to get a long nice bath and rest while watching a movie. What we didnt notice is the staff has not only made our bed but also provide us a flower bath to end my dear surprise birthday with relaxation and sweet dreams. It was really great of them to provide such thing so that my dear could release stress. So we ended playing water again.

Day3: A relaxing bath could really provide good sleep as the moment the alarm rang its already 9.30am again. Unfortunately, this pampered service is really coming to an end. So today we take this opportunity to just relax and our last round of photoshoot.

Once checking out, we leave our bags to the staff and we went venturing again. But because of the heat outside, we decide to laze around the library. The funny thing is, the library lies two beds for their customers to lie down and enjoy. So we decide to take one of the bed and take up some light reading and finally online facebooking before lunch.

Our last spot of lunch is a restaurant looking out the swimming pool. It was an amazing sight but the downside of the place is that the restaurant has quite a lot of flies flying around. Nevertheless, we thought that maybe we could eat something light so that we can venture somewhere outside to eat for dinner. What we order is totally opposite what we thought we would get. The portion of the food is really enough for 3-4 person and we stuff ourselves full.
Overall the whole experience is just phenomenal especially when you can to be all alone with someone you love. The mood there is set just right that you would just want to spend your life with your partner that you brought with there.
After our special trip, we went rest in Ipoh for another day before going back to our normal working life. Henceforth we have time for one more adventure where we went to Tanjuang Tualang to eat seafood. Seems like this place is famous for its prawn and I have to admit, it is very fresh. So seems like my trip has extended another day.

So here ends another wonderful journey with my dear. I really hope she enjoyed this trip as much as I do. I know this trip really brings me and her even closer as a couple and I hope we could travel even longer in the future.
